Nigerian Hiphop artiste/producer, Big
Brains, has inked a deal with The Bail
Music Company. Big Brains who is also the
CEO of the music label X-City Entertainment and a production outfit,
Gbonoloribeat, brokered a 2-year
management/label support deal with the
Lagos-based Management firm headed by music industry executive, Lanre Lawal.
“We’re so thrilled to have Big Brains with
us,” says Mr Lawal, “The deal will ensure
that Big Brians and his record label (X-
City Entertainment) get the expertise and support necessary for maximum global exposure,” he adds.
Big Brains, born Adozuka Ogirima Yushau,
has a B.Sc. In Zoology from the Ahmadu
Bello University, Zaria. He released a
couple of singles and carved a niche for
himself. It was his mixtape in November
2011, ‘The Cardiac Approach’, that drew
the attention of The Bail Music Company to his remarkable talent. “What struck me about Big Brains was his
outstanding style and delivery. I was not
looking to sign with anybody at the time
but after I downloaded his mixtape and
listened to his offering, I was blown away.” recalled Mr. Lanre Lawal.
The Bail Music Company and X-City
Entertainment are working on his latest
offering titled ‘Etighi’ – the first single off his forth coming album. Already, ‘Etighi ‘ is receiving rave reviews and commentary
from the online music community via blogs, forums, and all the major social networks.
A music video for ‘Etighi’ is in the works
and is scheduled for release before the end of July.
