2GeeZ,the 'African Lady' crooner, started their career in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. The duo,are currently performing and recording songs which are expected to continue with great  progress as they could be guests in Naija-EU Awards ceremony come 2014. 

 

The duo may not have been discovered at one of the famous talent hunt project in the land, but 2GeeZ have   breakthrough from the cadre of emerging arts in West Africa,Nigeria. 

 

The duo, both born in Port Harcourt, one is christened Gilbert Godwin From Delta State,Nigeria, and the other is Genesis Gabriel, Rivers State Nigeria,both live in Port Harcourt City.

 

Gilbert and Gabriel attended University of Port Harcourt for Public Administration and Theater Arts respectively. In the words of one of the duo, he said " I met him (@2geezrapper) in 2008 through a friend who was a class mate and we added each other on facebook; we did not talk to each other again till 2010 when I started to design local pictures and upload on facebook with my song. Then he was impressed so he inboxed me saying he would love to see me because he loved the way I keep up my swag on facebook. So we met in 2010 and did our first track titled STYLE produced by Chimaga and in December of that year, we recorded another titled "celebrate"

. 2Geez is among emerging acts who benefited from the newly crafted competitive beat by Nigeria UK-based RECORD PRODUCER,SOUND ENGINEER and STUDIO SUPERVISOR. We  think the  producer named the beat because of the type of vibes it comes with. The production is incorporated in a very energetic & groovy vibe that is set to make you dance the life out of yourself."Smash" instrumental is a fusion of Electro-House with Afrobeat (quite a very smart idea), this makes it extremely unique as 2Geez rides the song through the beat. The song has a rap on it and since its official release on 23rd August, it has recieved attention from fans and music lovers.
