Uchman, (real name Uche Duru), is a hiphop/rap artiste, born and
brought up in Lagos State. He’s a graduate of Petroleum Engineering
from the University of Port
Harcourt. He started out singing in the church choir at the age of 14,
before switching to rap in 2006, and since then, he's been honing his
rap skills, trying to carve a niché for himself. Locally, he cites M.I
and Sarkodie as his greatest mentors in the game, while
internationally, the likes of Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and Eminem, (to
mention a few), inspire him.
He has also been on the infamous Dj JimmyJatt’s Jimmy Jumpoff. His
first official single "Love Gone Sour", where he displayed his
versatility, rapping and singing, got mad love and admiration from
people and also garnered him a bunch of fans. He's presently working
on new material and is set to storm the industry, with a fresh vibe to
rap music.

Here's "Iyawo", a cover to BlackMagic's hit single "Repete'. Quite a
decent job, i must say. He did justice to the beat. Check it out!
