Born Chiwuba Nwaigwe, in Lagos, ‘Chuba’ or ‘Chuby’ as he is fondly called had his primary and secondary education in Lagos before proceeding to the Obafemi Awolowo University, where he bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics.
From a very young age, Chuba delved into the world of music, beginning with his joining the children’s choir of his church. At age nine, he was appointed the choir conductor where, with the dexterity of his hands, he dazzled the audience and congregation with his amazing and commanding performances. He regularly accompanied the adult choir to participate in singing competitions and choral festivals.
Chuba is out to impact the lives of his listeners with rich and wholesome lyrical content on good rhythmic vibes. The recording and performing artiste, singer-songwriter, whose music is influenced by pop, house, R & B, rock, hip-hop, and afrobeats has been influenced by some music industry greats, home and abroad.
His official single ‘Ngwanu’ is sure to get listeners grooving and bumping their heads. ‘Ngwanu’ was produced by the versatile and dynamic singer-songwriter Cliff-edge.
